Mary I am with you. I am lacking in the motivation department. Drop Poundz-have you found a marathon for us to walk in yet? The next weigh-in is August 22. Nothing new to report other than the fact that I need an uplift. The heat is dragging me down.

I am slipping too. I never thought that I would have such difficulty giving up mac n'cheese. My jar will be overflowing soon.

Hey Gang,
The heat is really putting a damper on things. I still go to the gym at least 5 times a week, and I have started using the leg machine for my dimples:)My motivation is when I look at my pictures and my face is Fat,and when I put on something that a smaller size from last year. I just want to keep exercising and eating healtier to see how great I can
look and I'm actual doing this for ME!Have a very bless week.

I have nothing new to report. No new money in the jar but it seems like I just learned how to eat around what I can't eat. I can't say I'm eating healthier. The heat is terrible down here it was 101 yeaturday. But anyway I have to get my mind right I'm not dropping the pounds and I'm to blame so I'm looking for this week to be better. If anyone has something uplifting to put on here please do!!

I'm extending an invitation to my house for the Fourth of July.Let me know if you can come. The menu will be good and healthy. Grilled meats, salads, low fat desserts. Sorry Junior maybe mac and cheese,let me know another favorite of yours I can cook for you.

Wow, I think we all need a boost! I did buy those sugar free popsicles I ate as a kid to have something refreshing in the house that isn't 1000 calories. I can't say I've done the best this week either. The exercising has definitely slipped because of the heat. I think when we're trapped inside we get bored and turn to the fridge. We need to think of something else to do...maybe we can go walk around the mall. That's exercise and fun! One good thing...I didn't eat fries this week, so my jar stands at $6.

Hum, I think I'm gaining and it won't stop. ahahhaha I don't know what's going on. I'm going the wrong way. I'm exercising but apparently not enough. I'm not eating much but apparently what I'm eating is the wrong stuff. I won't give up. I added $4 to my jar. The weekends are getting me.

Great week for ole drumo! I ran three days this week dropped two pounds and ate pretty darn healthy. It's bathing suit season now so I can't hide the flab anymore. It's time to shape up or ship out! Drum dogg.

Hi everyone,

The blog was not up on Friday and I was off on Monday, so I told Nicke what to write for me. In any case, it seems like many of us are hot, not motivated and completely in the dumps. However, when I read Mimi's blog, her comments really encouraged me.

As all of you already know, I like to look good and I like to feel good. It's not that I think I'm cute or pretty, I just like to look and feel a certain way. I feel good when I think I'm eating and exercising properly. I like for people to look at me and say, "Wow, she looks good." I mean, I am a woman and I want to do everything I can to continue to get those comments. If James ever leaves me or has an affair with a younger or older woman, it won't be because I don't look good or because I'm depressed.(smile).

As Mimi said, I am doing this for "ME" and I know that I am worth the time and effort.
