Week 1 Updates - by May 5th

I think there was some confusion last week. I thought we just had to post what we pledged to give up and then going forward we need to post how we did with exercise and staying away from our guilty pleasure=). I will put up an original post each week so that we can each leave a comment on how the week went. So everyone must post by next Monday how they did for the week under this post. -Kerry

Okay!! Okay!! I admit. I admit. I could not stand it anymore!!!! Please forgive me my fellow bloggers. But I had to. I had to eat those scoops of ice cream from Baskin Robbins. I promise I will put the $2.00 in my jar.

Everyone, please forgive my transgression.

Alright, now I feel better. Everyone please send me $10.00 to support the 2008 Spring Hat Fashion Revue. This is a fundraiser to help open up the Afterschool Program in my neighborhood. We will tutor children between the ages of 5-12 at no charge. This project is all about helping our children. I know that I am always involved in something, but I feel so blessed and I just want to do something to help bless others. Please send your $10 to me by Monday, May 19, 2008. 209 Gowan Circle, Sptbg., SC 29301. This will probably be my last fundraiser.
Thank you for your support.

Hi Everyone, this week has been pretty hard but I stuck to no fried foods for six days. I have been cooking more, but mostly pasta and I know this needs to change. Plus I have feel in love with bologna and cheese sandwiches.mmmmm but anyway I will try and get more work outs in in the coming week and focus more on consuming less food by watching the portions that I eat.

My week has been good and bad. The good part is that I lost another pound, the bad news is that it was only a pound. I have held strong to my no caffeine pledge so far but I really wanted some of that tea at Mert's. My workouts were great and I am proud of the Haney's!!!

Thanks to everyone for keeping my wife busy this weekend so that I could have some good food. Just kidding! I lost 1.5 pounds and I have not cheated but I am waiting on Phoebee's mac'n cheese on Sunday. It will be well worth $2.

You're welcome Junior. We know she is trying to starve you. Just kidding.

My second week without any frenchfries or any kind of potato for that matter. Walked 3 times last week. Lost 3 pounds. Yeah me!

Kerry and Steven--I really enjoyed this weekend. Thanks for the invite.

Well 2Sweet has had a rough week. I did manage to get in my three days of walking but had to add $14 to my jar for sweets. Hey all I can say is it's all good. I can only go up from here. Plus this gives me additional motivation to lose the pounds and get myself together because if anyone does like I've done, there should be a fairly large pot. I enjoyed hanging out with everyone this week.

Have a positive, productive, powerful, and prosperous God led and God filled week.

Last week was great, I didn't fall off the wagon until I went to chickfilet on Saturday and I was hungery and ate some fries, but they were not good, because I felt gulity. I exercised 5 times last week. To crave my desire for sweets I started eating angel food cake, fresh strawberries and lite cool whip, try this it will do the trick.
I want to thank you all from the bottom of my soul for coming to Charlotte to celebrate my birthday. I had a great time and I hope you all did too, miss you Alma andSommer!

OK, so I cheated! Steven and I ate fries this week. We went to a gourmet hamburger joint and had to order fries! I guess it was worth $2 extra (not really). I did exercise 4 or 5 times this week and two of those times I ran! So, overall I think it was a good week. I hope next week will be better.
