Weight loss challenge over

Due to disputes over money owed and the inability of some contestants to make the weigh-in date in Rock Hill, the challenge is over. Congratulations to Kerry, Alma and everyone who lost pounds. Happy Thanksgiving Week!

Well I have no idea what the disputes are, but I hope they weren't something that couldve been easily handled. Everyone knew the weigh in date and should have made plans to be there. If you knew the date was a problem, you should have spoken up 3 months ago. Lets not continue to bring it up and do the fussing thing again. If it is agreed to drop it, lets drop it; the drama isn't needed this time. Anyway, this was fun and very motivating to us all. I hope everyone continues to put forth the effort to living healthy lives for yourself and your families. Love you all and have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!

Hello Everybody! Hope everything is going well but apparently not. I do not appreciate either one or whomever cutting off the challenge I have been working since January the 1st on my weight loss only to come to the end of the year for someone to tell me that it is no longer valid. I do not know if people got into it, have attitudes but all of us have worked to reach our goals. We are supposed to be a family. There is no need for all of the chaos. But I will say this, if this is the way that things will go I will not be participating in any extra activities with this family - too many problems. It is sad because I was excited, because of negative attitudes everyone is missing out. You all need to think about what you did. Love you all in spite of .
PS: communication is always the key. see you on thursday.

To set the record straight, Arthur and I wasn't going to be able to make the weigh-in because of Jada's rehearsal. If we were not going to be able to win I wasn't going to send the money. This stopped being fun when Alma won and people were negative about her winning. The intentions behind this was great, it started off with the right momentum, but somewhere along the line it died. It is really shame that a family as large as ours can not function like a loving family. I think it is sad, the separatism is ridiculous and we all need to grow up. Have a Happy Thanksgiving! See you Thursday!

Cumba yah my Lord, Cumba yah. Hum, now that I've gotten that off my chest. If there are any disputes might they be put assunder by perusing the blog's previous posts or not posts? If there are folks who are having a problem making it to Rock Hill, could we all have considered another day? Right on FreeBlackDove, communication. Does anyone want to consider weighing in before we eat on Thanksgiving day, we'll all be there. I hate for things not to make it to our original intent, one last weight loss weigh in and victor for 2008. Also, remember when we continue to hold on to less than positive things, it tends to taint those positive things in front of us. In other words, dimples, move on, if it ceased to be fun for you, then that's on you, because everyone congratulated Alma on her win, and by signing on for the next step, showed there were no negative feelings only positive. Lastly, living one state away really amounts to missing out on alot, separatism, not functioning as a loving family, this goes a lot deeper than this blog. Maybe Keisha Cole's family had the right idea, anybody up for family therapy? Until Thursday.....

What in the he double hockey stick is going on? Is it on or off, everybody needs to say something. How many folks are in this thing? If it's over, put your final comment out there. I say keep rolling, even though I don't have a snow ball chance in he double hockey stick to win.

Hello All,
I have enjoyed walking through the year with each of you as we have tried to lose weight and take better care of our bodies together. I hope there will be no hard feelings as the holidays are approaching and we reflect on what we are thankful for.
Love, Kerry
